Many thanks for your note (53934/38) of

2 the 16th of August.

Yes, the question of air raid

shelters is having consideration in the design of

the new house. The present proposal is to utilize

the space ordinarily as a wine cellar, a bit of

forethought for which some Governor may be grateful

when an air raid is in progress!
